SB Dunk Low “Street Hawker”

Description

Watercolour illustrations bring each dish to life, while plenty of additional thoughtful touches—such as Chinese characters on each heel and also an embroidered copper coin—call attention to other facets of Eastern culinary tradition. Chinese characters then take the place of the customary “Nike” heel stitching. The exterior of the Nike Dunk Low Street Hawker is a work of art within itself, featuring asymmetrical watercolours on a canvas, leather, and suede structure. 

Nike took note of the love skaters had for the Dunk and finally in 2002, introduced the SB Dunk, re-engineered for skating with features such as more padding and better traction. The SB Dunk became a canvas to try out offbeat colour combinations and unusual fabrics like pig suede.
